2011 Annual Technical Communication Competition

 Judges during the 2011-2012 year will be evaluating entries in the following categories, which are new to this year’s competition: Informational Materials, Instructional Materials, Promotional Materials, and User Support Materials competitions. Each category contains subcategories that further define the intention of the materials. A single entry can be entered in only one category. For more information about these new categorizations, go to the Puget Sound Chapter STC website (http://www.stc-psc.org/competition.php).

All technical communication professionals are invited to serve as judges; you do not have to be a member of STC to participate.

Please expect to spend 15-20 hours of time on judging. This is the estimated time required to evaluate four entries, which is the typical number of entries assigned.  Judging runs 3 weeks from October 18, 2011 to November 11, 2011, so check your schedule to ensure that adequate time is available during that period.
